At last some feedback! Keep on getting well Kathy and thanks so much for taking the time to let us in on what is going on with you and your experience with MJ.
Maybe we got something started here. I hope.

Kathy Thanks a million bunches, even we want to get some MJ soon Dr. Steve I found this article on the Net, I hope this helps all your mice :
1. Sulindac sulfide-induced apoptosis is enhanced by a small-molecule Bcl-2 inhibitor and by TRAIL in human colon cancer cells overexpressing Bcl-2.
------ You had blogged about the scientist who lost his funding by engineering mice whose BAX could be raised on Demand ( BAX lowers BCL-2 expression) You also Blogged that Bloodroot raises BAX. Do you think there could be a synergy here? Could using the Bloodroot Bcl-2 pathway instead of Tnf work just as well. One more thing I found in a study that just 1 to 3 mmol/L sodium salicylate is all that is required for it to induce apoptosis. Na Sal only lowered one of the Bcl proteins BAX Bcl2 remaining unchanged.

It's funny that you mention sodium bicarbonate. I happened upon a discussion the other day regarding anti-fungal medications, sodium bicarbonate and Cimetidine. As we know, Cimetidine inhibits the breakdown of certian chemicals in the body. To remedy this, scientists developed Rantadine (sp?) by removing an imidazole ring from the Cimetidine compound.

What is fascinating is that when they were tested against one another for their cytotoxic anti-cancer properties, Rantadine did not provide the same anti-cancer benefits of Cimetidine.

This has lead some to postulate that the imidazole ring is what gives Cimetidine its cancer-fighting properties.

I'm not a chem guy, but apparently imidazole rings are chemical structures commonly found in anti-fungals meds.

Seems like a weird coincidence....

Leaving that aside, have you tried the combo of sodium bicarbonate cooked with maple syrup? There are numerous testimonials on the web of people who have used it.

Dr. Steve

I did not write this essay. Kathy is not a member of this blog.

Larry B.

Dr. Martin,
Do you mean the above essay is bogus?????
I don't understand.
Larry B.

Dr. Steve

Kathy wrote me about her pleasure with MJ. I asked her write up her experience so I could post it. She wrote the following essay which is in her own words and is not bogus.

Sorry for any confusion, I didn't realize that she wasn't a member of the blog. I guess it's going to be hard for her to answer my question then...

;)

BTW, I don't think the fungus theory has much to offer, but who knows...

David

I have CLL and I have ordered MJ. When it comes in I will post if I see any change in my condition.

Hi David,

My husband has CLL and I am looking for ways to order methyl jasmonate. So far, none of my emails to suppliers were returned. Could you please share your sources of methyl jasmonate.

Thank you.
